At 14:52 UTC we were alerted that the diary application was unavailable. The diary became available again at 14:56 UTC. Users may have experienced a slower than usual diary until 15:05 UTC while the server was processing the backlog of requests. The root cause of these issues appears to have been transient login issues to the database which was reported by Azure.
